The Grape Surprise testing game is a project developed by the Dutch wine company C'est le Vin. C'est le Vin specialises in importing quality wines, directly from the winery to supply private customers and the catering industry.
Grape Surprise was created to diversify the product range of C'est le Vin and to introduce customers to their wine selection. The aim of the game was to create a fun, playful and ludic atmosphere so customers would share a nice time with friends while learning about wine.
A bright and colourful visual identity was developed to bring customers directly into the playfulness of the game. Six colours were selected to colour code the game flow, as a maximum of six bottles would be tested during the game. Hand-drawn visual elements were added to create a fun and accessible look and feel, while the bold serif typography brings more maturity to the game.
